Literacy and Culture

Purpose

At Trinity Karen Baptist Church, we believe in preserving and passing on our rich cultural heritage to the next generation. As part of our Children’s Ministry, we intentionally teach the Karen language to our young ones so they can understand, speak, and appreciate their mother tongue. Through songs, stories, and interactive lessons, children are encouraged to embrace their cultural identity with pride. In addition, our Youth Ministry is committed to educating young people about Karen history, traditions, and values. By learning about our culture, the youth gain a deeper awareness of who they are and where they come from, helping them build a strong sense of identity and unity. At Trinity Karen Baptist Church, we see cultural education as a vital part of spiritual growth and community strength.
